Détester tout le monde
Adeline Rosenstein
Thibaut Wenger
How do you cool your hatred without losing face? How do you forgive, but not forget, the serious mistakes of the past? How do you receive a person accused of the most terrible crimes and give them a chance to start over?
Adeline Rosenstein puts Aeschylus’s trilogy through the wringer to confront today’s teenagers with the question of the legitimacy of vengeance, as experienced in the early days of democracy. Written in a mischievous yet polished language for Thibaut Wenger and two partners, who alternately play men and gods, this screwball yet erudite whirlwind takes us, in three short episodes, through a sequence of dramatic events within a family of winners that escapes its curse.
