Actor Nicolas Buysse and jazz trumpeter Greg Houben, accompanied by pianist Matthieu Van, draw us into a poetic and musical experience, surreal and full of tenderness, to introduce us to the work of Jacques Prévert. With a small glass of red wine in their hands, a cigarette between their lips and a hat on their heads, these ‘Jacques’ characters of an evening revisit the funny, tender, corrosive and dissenting repertoire of the famous poet in music and words.
Equipped with individual headphones, we savour his words, set to music and whispered directly into our ears.
