Creating and nurturing connections
Mediation team
No, the Théâtre National is not a fortress!
The mediation team is there to welcome all audiences, including – perhaps even especially! – those who have never set foot in a theatre before. Audience relations are at the heart of its commitment. This goes hand in hand with the decision to have an open and accessible programme.
The Théâtre National opens its doors to schools, associations, students and anyone curious enough to enter. It offers adapted guided tours. The team is also responsible for publicizing the programme, accompanying and helping people to enter the artistic worlds on offer.
With tailor-made formulas that favour the deepening of links over a long period of time, the Théâtre National does everything in its power to facilitate access to the work and make coming to the theatre a constructive experience. Through practical workshops, meetings with artists, and public gatherings on one or more themes, the Théâtre National wishes to create direct experiences with the performing arts in an intersectional way that includes all of us, no matter how diverse our cultures and origins.
