The entire team of Théâtre National is deeply shaken by the passing of Serge Damenez, Head of the Machinery Department. On Saturday, November 23, Serge took his own life within the Théâtre National.
This tragic act has deeply affected all of us. Théâtre National extends its deepest condolences to Serge's family and loved ones.

In the face of such a significant and emotionally complex event, it is important to take the necessary time. Therefore, in consultation with all staff members, it has been decided to suspend activities to allow the team to process this painful moment. The Théâtre National will remain closed all week, and touring performances will be canceled.

The Théâtre National will reopen its doors on Tuesday, December 3, for the remaining five performances of Les Gros patinent bien.
