Chevalier surprise
+ DJ Hyppocampo
+ DJ Belle Flaque

Soirée
A double bill for an opening night. Following the performances of Hamlet and Ruuptuur, a boogie punk rock concert, followed by two lively DJ set.

Chevalier surprise is five knights of the apocalypse practising raw, unfiltered and passionate rock, freely mixing boogie punk. Created in 2017 during a music workshop on the initiative of Rémi Rotsaert, the project currently brings together two members of the Liège garage rock combo The Experimental Tropic Blues Band, Jérémy Alonzi (guitar) and David D’Inverno (drums), and two members of the Zone-Art association : Omega (voice, keyboard), Julien (voice). Their first album 'Morceau de Bravoure' perfectly captures the overflowing energy of their stage performances. An explosive cocktail reminiscent of the Stooges, Magic System, the Cramps, B52’s and even Pierre Rapsat !

DJ Hyppocampo is an excellent bar DJ always looking to create a conga line with her audience. Thanks to her experience as a media librarian, she has had access to a huge collection of forgotten and/or non-digitized music projects with which she enjoys composing her mixes. She is also a member of the Brussels-based collective Poxcat, which aims to make female-identifying DJs, producers and musicians visible and to promote them through the organization of festive events, the broadcasting of radio shows, and podcasts.

DJ Belle Flaque builds her sets as a tribute to dancing bodies, to ‘hearts without verandas’, to anger, to voices and insatiable hunger. At the moment, she’s playing a selection of dance hall, rap, shatta and trap, with no limits on style. As long as our bodies are shaking. A tenderly thorny slap, it’s disturbing enough to make you dance and powerful enough to make you smile.
