Nikki lives in a house that doesn’t exist. Inside the house that doesn’t exist, we find Madame Monstre, Les Tout Petits and Nuage le Nuage. Not so long ago, Nikki flew into a rage. She is now looking for what she lost: her composure. Nikki has to regain her composure, and for that she needs the help of Madame Monstre, Les Tout Petits and Nuage le Nuage. Otherwise, she won’t be able to leave the house that doesn’t exist and return home …

Je vis dans une maison qui n’existe pas is a text that moves between the innocence of a children’s story and the pragmatic brutality of raw, direct prose.

The play paints the psychological portrait of a person with dissociative identity disorder and anger management issues. It opens a window on how to deal with childhood trauma, the inertia of the psychiatric system, and the need to fragment one’s identity to survive in a world where neuroatypical people feel excluded, inadequate and irretrievable.
