Cécile

Marion Duval

14 & 15.03.2025
Theatre

In this one-woman show brilliantly orchestrated by Marion Duval, performer Cécile Laporte, who is also an activist, hospital clown and so much more, tells us about her many experiences. With a great deal of self-mockery, she shares her intimate confessions – which are packed with delicious anecdotes – with the audience in a frank and direct way.

The idea was born of an observation: Cécile makes the people around her blossom. Marion Duval, the director behind the idea of the show, wanted to present this friend to the public as if she were a gift. She asked her to share her adventures, memories, and offered her a stage and an audience. As her story unfolds, we discover her insatiable appetite for life and her desire to go beyond the limits that characterize her relation to life.

Delving into her extraordinary life story, she questions, with impressive oratorical mastery, the relationship between the imperatives of modern life and the ancestral need to belong. Thanks to an everlatent sense of self-mockery and the strange, comic happenings that punctuate the show, time flies by at dizzying speed.

A show that is bound to leave you staggered.
