In Le Garage inventé, we return to the dreamlike life of Lucie, played by Lucie Debay, who was already at the centre of Un Royaume.
This time, Lucie has to marry a frightening mechanic who works in a strange garage. To escape the machinery of this dark, fantastical spiral, she has to activate the means of her own imagination…
Combining the languages of theatre and Belgian film, actor, director and producer Claude Schmitz’s new show explores the engines and mechanics that power our stories, in particular the place of female characters in them. Somewhere between dream and reality, Le Garage inventé celebrates the power of fiction with a world woven from the weird and wonderful.
