Rébecca Chaillon continues her investigation into the representation of bodies, of sexuality, desire, appetite and disgust. Plutôt vomir que faillir grew out of memories of her painful years in secondary school, that so-called awkward age, when the private being under construction faces rejection, silence, anger.
Four young performers use this rage to try and exorcise their own adolescence by telling their stories. An exercise in autofiction aimed at reconciling with the self in order to better open up to the other.
