In search of her mother, she will leave Gaziantep at the Turkish-Syrian border in July 2021 and cross Europe to reach Manchester in November 2021. Amal is a spokesperson for unaccompanied children and those separated from their families. She will walk more than 8 000 kms to transmit the message: “Do not forget us”.
